The call for participation in research projects of the Libraries Institution was released this year.

According to the Young Journalists Club, and quoted from the information website of the Public Libraries Foundation of the country, this call invites legal entities (universities, research centers, scientific associations, knowledge-based companies, etc.) and individuals (researchers and scholars) to submit their proposals in accordance with the RFPs (Request for Proposals) announced by December 6, 2018, through the "Research Projects Management System of the Public Libraries Foundation of the country".
The titles of the research projects presented in this call include "Compilation of a Comprehensive Document on Lifelong Learning in Public Libraries", "Compilation of a Comprehensive Document on the Development of Rural Libraries", "Compilation of a Training Program for Librarians of Rural Libraries", "Design and Compilation of Training Courses for Users of Public Libraries", "Compilation of a Digital Transformation Program for Public Libraries", "Organizational Structure Reform", "Review and Engineering of Current Processes", "Design and Implementation of a Ranking System for Public Libraries", "Study and Compilation of a Charter for the Construction and Improvement of Public Libraries", "Compilation of a Strategic Document for Awareness, Advertising of Services and Programs", "Design and Implementation of a Project Management System", "Design and Implementation of a System for Monitoring User Opinions of Public Libraries", "Assessment of the Needs of People with Disabilities", "Identification and Assessment of the Needs of the Elderly", "Identification and Assessment of the Needs of Baloch Local Communities", "Identification and Assessment of the Needs of Kurdish Local Communities", "Identification and Assessment of the Needs of Arab Local Communities", and "Identification and Assessment of the Needs of Azeri Local Communities".
The Research and Education Office of the Foundation, in this call, announced the results of the proposal evaluation on December 16, stating: "Due to time constraints for registering research projects in the SAMAT system and receiving a tracking code, the deadline for submitting proposals will not be extended."
Employees of the Public Libraries Foundation of the country and implementers of ongoing research projects of the Public Libraries Foundation of the country are not eligible to participate in this call.
