A 2.5-fold (254.79%) increase in international articles from Lorestan University in the Web of Science database between 2013 and 2017.

Mohammad Feyzian, Vice President for Research and Technology at Lorestan University, announced: 259 scientific articles from Lorestan University were indexed in Web of Science in 2017, representing a 254.79% growth compared to 2013. He continued that the university's policies and programs in the research sector in recent years have mainly included developmental and incentive policies. Providing the necessary infrastructure for conducting research and full support for the international interactions of academics in the form of publishing international articles in collaboration with foreign authors, study opportunities, and the conclusion of scientific-research cooperation agreements with foreign universities have been among these cases.

He further stated regarding the status of the university's article production in the Web of Science index that the upward trend of article publication has continued continuously since 2014. So that 73 articles indexed in 2013 reached 88 articles in 2014 (20.54% growth). This trend reached 147 articles in 2015, which represents a 101.37% growth compared to 2013. Also, in 2016, 213 articles by the university's faculty members were indexed in Web of Science, which indicates a 191.78% growth compared to 2013.
