Opening of Lorestan Research and Technology Exhibition with the Presence of the Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs

The Research and Technology Week exhibition of Lorestan Province was inaugurated in the Imam Ali (AS) Sports Hall of Lorestan University, with the presence of the Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Lorestan Province.

The Research and Technology Week exhibition of Lorestan Province was inaugurated on Saturday afternoon, December 15th, in the Imam Ali (AS) Sports Hall of Lorestan University, with the presence of the Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Lorestan Province, Engineer Goodarz Amiri, and the President of Lorestan University, Dr. Khosro Azizi.

The Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Lorestan Province said to reporters: "This exhibition has 54 booths, which include effective research and investigative projects of the province's executive departments and agencies, as well as researchers."

Engineer Amiri explained: "A very important measure in support of research in Lorestan province has been that, by order of the Governor, the province's research funds have been centralized and placed at the disposal of the secretariat, i.e., Lorestan University."

He explained: "The research priorities of Lorestan province have been summarized, and 17 top and prominent projects have been identified, and these projects are all demand-oriented."

The Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Lorestan Province stated: "The priorities have been based on the implementation of research projects that are necessary and can solve some of the province's problems."

Amiri explained: "The rule of the work is that research projects should be commercialized and applied in accordance with the needs of the province, and then reach the mass production stage."

He stated: "We will fully support investors who want to bring research projects to the mass production stage."

The Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs of Lorestan Province stated: "With the emphasis of the esteemed Governor, the necessary technical and credit assistance has also been predicted for the priority research projects of Lorestan province."

Engineer Goodarz Amiri continued: "Fortunately, many of the projects presented in this exhibition are of the priority, scientific, applied, and knowledge-based type, and undoubtedly the necessary support for these projects will be provided based on investor participation."

December 15th marks the beginning of Research and Technology Week in Lorestan Province.

At the end of this week, the top executive departments and agencies in the field of research and technology will be honored.
