The Deputy for Research of the Seminaries stated: One of the main programs of Research Week is the exhibition of research achievements, which will be held under the title "Meshkat 5 Exhibition"; the productions of the seminaries in relation to Islamic-Humanities in 15 fields and in the form of 4,000 selected works will be displayed in the second part of this exhibition.

According to ISNA, Seyyed Hossein Mir Moezi, in a press conference on Research Week and the Meshkat Exhibition, which was held this morning in the meeting hall of the Management Center of Seminaries, said: Since the last week of Azar month has been designated as Research Week, this time frame is a valuable opportunity to appreciate researchers, review the research done, the achievements of research centers, and the pathology of the research process in the country.

He stated: The Research Deputy of the Seminaries has considered programs at the headquarters and supra-headquarters levels to take advantage of this opportunity; considering that one of the demands of the Supreme Leader regarding the humanities is to achieve Islamic-Humanities, this issue has been chosen as the slogan of this year's Research Week.

The Deputy for Research of the Seminaries stated: "Research and Young Students", "Top Talents and Elites", "Research, Achievements and Capacities", "Research, Interactive Models and Synergy of Seminary Research Institutions", "Research, Seminary and University", "Research and the Basic Document of Progress", "Research and the Islamic Revolution" are, respectively, the slogans of the days of Research Week.

Mir Moezi, regarding the programs considered for Research Week, said: Meetings with the authorities, holding scientific meetings in the research center, and also holding a book exhibition are among the programs of this week.

He noted: One of the main programs in Research Week is the exhibition of research achievements, which will be held under the title of Meshkat 5 Exhibition; about 80 research centers have been invited to participate in this exhibition, of which 65 centers have announced their readiness so far.

Mir Moezi, pointing out that this exhibition has been organized in three sections, emphasized: In the first section, each research institute presents its achievements by attending the booths that have been considered for them, the second section is the thematic section, in which the productions of the seminaries in relation to Islamic-Humanities in 15 fields and in the form of 4,000 selected works are presented, and in the third section, the books that clerics and seminaries have written on the subject of the Islamic Revolution are displayed.

The Deputy for Research of the Seminaries stated: In the Research Deputy of the Seminary, a council has been formed under the title of the Coordination Council of Research Centers, all of which are selected from the research centers of Qom province; representatives of more than 180 research centers in Qom province form the members of this council, and the mentioned exhibition will be held in Research Week in cooperation with this council.

Mir Moezi said: On the first day of Research Week, which has been named Research and Young Students, Top Talents and Elites, the Research Center for Women and Family of the Seminary of Sisters has considered programs related to this day, and on Sunday, the Imam Khomeini Research Institute will present its programs on the subject of Research, Achievements and Capacities.

He added: On Monday, the Research Deputy of the Seminary has taken responsibility for holding the programs specific to this day and will hold a detailed meeting by inviting the managers and deputies of the research centers, the Research Institute of the Seminary and University is in charge of holding the programs on Tuesday, and the Research Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought will follow up on the discussion of Research and the Basic Document of Progress on Wednesday.

The Deputy for Research of the Seminaries, at the end, stated: The Research Institute of Islamic Sciences and Culture, by putting the subject of Research and the Islamic Revolution on the agenda, will present its programs on the last day of Research Week.

The Ministry of Science has placed the burden of Islamization on the seminary

The Deputy for Research of the Seminary, stating that the seminary is alone in Islamization, said: The Ministry of Science has placed the burden on the seminary.

In response to a question about the country's progress model document, Mir Moezi added: After the Supreme Leader's announcement about the country's progress model document, a headquarters was formed in the seminary for this issue, and I am in charge of that headquarters. This headquarters has two main missions; first, to create a discourse at the seminary level about this document as an important top-level document and the country's roadmap, and the second mission is to carefully review and offer suggestions for improving the document.

He said, stating that schools and professors across the country are in charge of the discussion of discourse-building in this field: Scientific associations and research centers, professors of external courses and higher levels of the seminary, higher and specialized schools of the seminary can enter into the criticism and review of the document, of course, at the level of the authorities, they themselves will also address it and will express their opinions.

The Deputy for Research of the Seminary stated: This work will be done in a specific time frame, i.e., nine months, and we also have an understanding with the Center for the Islamic-Iranian Model of Progress to use the capacities of this center to create a wide movement in the seminary and the report of the activities of the headquarters will be presented to them.

We don't have accurate statistics!

In response to a question about the statistics of the annual research of the seminary's research centers and how much it is focused on the needs of the day, Mir Moezi, stating that we do not have accurate statistics, said: Whether the seminary's research is related to the issues of today's society or not is not a zero-sum issue, and it cannot be said that these researches have had no impact or it cannot be said that it has addressed one hundred percent of the country's issues. Many of these researches have been turned into government and national laws, including in the discussion of Islamic banking, in the drafting and criticism and suggestions in this field, all of which have been from the seminary, and also in the issues of women and family, all research is related to the questions of today's society, of course, we also have scientific and fundamental research.

Mir Moezi, stating that the principle of this discussion is correct that not all research is related to the issues of the country, added: The Research Headquarters has been established for the research programs of the seminary and the orientation of the centers for the issues of the system, and we are also making policies in this direction.

He added: Fundamental research is the basis of applied research, and one of the problems in today's discussions in the country is that we want to solve it based on Islamic principles and provide an Islamic solution, and this issue is a difficult and long-term task, and capable forces should be trained for this type of studies, of course, we currently have more than three thousand graduates who are specialized in the humanities and write.

Mir Moezi, stating that the research centers of Qom are of three types, added: A group that the Seminary's Licensing Council gives permission to and also financially supports them, which are few in number; there are those who the granting council gives permission, but they are financially independent, and the third section, which is the main centers, are independent in both aspects, i.e., permission and expenses.

The Deputy for Research of the Seminary said: In order for these researches to be directed towards the needs of the system and society, research needs assessment has been carried out and we have done this in 9 fields so far, and we are also in the process of compiling the national needs assessment system.

He continued: The seminary has made a jihadi movement in explaining the humanities, but we do not see much movement from other institutions in this field. Although they have a lot of budget and facilities, the seminary has made a jihadi movement with little capacity and budget, of course, the volume of demands and requests is so great that these movements are also a small movement.

Scholarly Unity; The Root of the Unity of Seminary and University

The Deputy for Research, also in response to a question about the need to move beyond the cliché space of unity between the seminary and the university and to achieve real unity, said: The axis of unity between the seminary and the university is scholarly unity, and it is not possible for the university to produce knowledge in relation to the sciences that is based on Western principles and origins and not think about the Islamization of knowledge at all, and the seminary, on the other hand, to give the slogan of Islamic humanities and think about producing it and then say that the unity of the seminary and the university has occurred; in my opinion, the level is the root and deep scholarly unity. If this issue occurs, unity will occur in a root and real way, and if this does not happen, unity will be done in the next layers, i.e., coordination in order to use the achievements of both sides and meet the needs in a weak way, which is being done, and of course, promotional and cultural discussions in terms of observing Islamic rulings, etc., in the university are also the superficial layer of unity that must occur.

Mir Moezi said at the end: The seminary has reached the point where it has 3,000 specialists at the master's and doctoral levels, and this number has been organized in scientific associations and are present in research centers.
