Mansour Gholami stated on Wednesday at the meeting of the Supreme Council for Science, Research and Technology (SCSRT): Although we supported research this year with a four-thousand-toman currency, there is no plan in this regard for the second six months of the year, and we are facing problems.
In the one hundred and seventy-third session of the SCSRT's permanent commission, he expressed hope that with these measures, sufficient resources could be provided for the research sector to implement fundamental programs in this area, referring to the appropriate actions of the SCSRT's permanent commissions.
Gholami, referring to the budget situation of the research sectors in the 98 budget bill, stated: Operational and executive regulations in this area will be prepared by next week. Also, during this time, the regulations must be presented before the notes of this bill come to the government's session.
The Minister of Science, emphasizing the presentation of proposals for the 98 budget bill in the field of research, noted: Our main problem in this area is the lack of budget and government credits for next year. Considering the current conditions, it cannot be expected that the conditions of research budgets will be better next year than this year.
Gholami, expressing hope that the results of the performance of the SCSRT commissions will be used, added: Assuming that the credit conditions for next year are better, we must present our proposals in this regard so that the country benefits from the results of this performance.
