Synergy between Lorestan University and the Ministry of Science's Technology Vice-Presidency to Strengthen the Province's Technology Ecosystem

A joint synergy meeting aimed at strengthening the technology ecosystem of Lorestan province was held with the presence of the President of Lorestan University (Dr. Mehrdad Dadastani), the Science and Technology Park of the province (Dr. Mohammad Reza Sepahvand), the Director of the Province's Research and Technology Fund (Dr. Meysam Doosti-zadeh), and the Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology for Technology (Dr. Mohammad Nabi Sheykhiki).

According to the Public Relations of Lorestan University, based on the report submitted by the Research and Technology Vice-Presidency of the University, in this meeting, the activities and actions of the Lorestan University Incubator Center were reviewed and discussed. It was decided that the Science and Technology Park of the province, with special support, would establish a supporting ecosystem for technology units and nuclei with the aim of providing coaching, consulting, and mentoring services to the technology nuclei of Lorestan University.

Furthermore, it was decided that the Province's Research and Technology Fund would provide the necessary support facilities to the technology nuclei with special support.

It was approved that the Industry Relations Management would also provide the necessary platform for organizing industrial and technological tours, as well as cooperation in industrial co-op and technical and specialized skills, so that with the help of the Lorestan University Incubator Center, networking and the formation of professional teams could be realized.

It is noteworthy that the Lorestan University Incubator Center has been selected as one of the pilot modern incubator centers nationwide and has so far taken effective measures in identifying and attracting idea generators.

This center aims to create the conditions for the expansion and development of Lorestan University's technological ecosystem by providing a platform for cooperation between the supporting ecosystem and technology transfer offices.

In this meeting, the President of Lorestan University, the President of the Science and Technology Park of the province, the Vice-President of Research and Technology of Lorestan University, the Director of the Technology Fund of Lorestan province, the Director of Industry Relations of Lorestan University, and the Director of the Incubator Center of the University were invited to the Ministry of Science by the Deputy Minister of Science for Technology and Innovation, Dr. Sheykhiki, with the aim of strengthening the technology ecosystem and forming the province's technology value chain.
